Austin’s feline-exclusive veterinary practice. We would love to meet your cat.
South Austin Cat Hospital is owned and operated by Dr. Katrina Breitreiter, one of approximately 80 board-certified feline specialists in the world. Because of who we are and how we practice, we accept new clients through an application process.
This is not a barrier. It is how we make sure every cat who comes through our doors has a team fully prepared for them, and every client has a clear picture of what to expect.
The application takes about 15 to 20 minutes. We review every application within one week and reach out by phone or email to discuss next steps.
Applications are reviewed within one week. Once approved, a team member will contact you to schedule your first appointment.
Basic contact info, a secondary party, your cat’s details, your expectations, and acknowledgment of our practice policies, including our Fear Free, no-scruffing approach.
We want every visit to be a great experience. The application helps us make sure our philosophy and your expectations are aligned before your first appointment.
