🔨 Expansion Update · October 2026

The Finishing Touches Are Under Way

Construction on our original suite is wrapping up, and the full space is coming together beautifully. When complete, your new SACH will feature eight exam rooms (including our largest room designed for multi-cat appointments), a dedicated ultrasound suite, a dedicated dental suite, and a dedicated comfort room with its own private entry and exit.

We’re also laying the groundwork for new services we hope to introduce in 2027 to extend the level of care we can offer our beloved felines. More details to come.

Love cats and love people? We’re looking for a friendly, organized receptionist to be the first face our clients and their feline family members see.

Reports To: Lead Veterinary Receptionist, Practice Manager(s)

Key Responsibilities

Answer and direct phone calls, manage multiple lines. Schedule and confirm appointments. Facilitate check-in/check-out. Create and maintain client/patient accounts. Process payments, reconcile cash, prepare deposits. Conduct post-visit follow-ups. Provide clients with vaccine schedules, preventive care info, and educational resources. Advocate for Fear Free practices. Maintain reception/waiting areas. Complete daily checklists. Assist with prescription fulfillment and online pharmacy orders. Maintain hospital email inbox.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year customer service experience (veterinary setting preferred). Cat Friendly Advocate Certification required. Fear Free certification preferred. Basic proficiency in computer systems including Vetter and Google applications. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Passionate about feline medicine? We’re looking for dedicated veterinary technicians to support our veterinarians with patient care, diagnostics, and treatments in a cats-only, fear-free environment.

Room & Float Technician

Reports To: Technician Manager, Practice Manager(s)

Key Responsibilities

Collect patient histories, vitals, and weights. Support veterinarians with exams, sample collections, and vaccinations. Manage and fill prescriptions. Assist with hospitalized patients. Triage and respond to emergencies. Collect samples and perform diagnostic tests. Assist with radiography and dental procedures. Monitor patients during sedation, anesthesia, and recovery. Provide emergency first aid and CPR. Educate clients on treatments and post-visit care.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year relevant experience. LVT and VTS preferred but not required. Cat Friendly Advocate Certification required. Fear Free certification preferred.

Surgery & Surgery Float Technician

Reports To: Technician Manager, Practice Manager(s)

Key Responsibilities

Manage intake of drop-offs, day admissions, and surgery patients. Discuss treatment plans, estimates, and obtain client consents. Oversee hospitalized patient care including continuous monitoring, vitals, diagnostics, and treatments. Induce and monitor anesthesia. Prepare patients and surgical instruments for anesthesia, surgery, and dental procedures. Accurately complete invoices for diagnostics, treatments, and services.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a surgical setting. LVT and VTS preferred but not required. Cat Friendly Advocate Certification required. Fear Free certification preferred.

A Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine graduate with a deep passion for feline medicine, Dr. Grant plans to pursue board certification in feline medicine through the University of Sydney. She’s fear-free in all of her handling and treats every cat with respect and empathy, as if they were her own.
